GoPro Adventures - Take One

We had a lovely day out at our community club pool for the July 4th holiday.  It was a day full of sunshine, laughter and experimentations with the new GoPro and dome.  I absolutely love how it can capture all the action below and above surface simultaneously.  Of course, these are early days and I am still getting acquainted with this new little gadget.  Looking forward to taking it out on more water filled adventures and growing my GoPro skills.  So, stay tuned....

Two Friends

Last year, before we relocated to Florida, I experimented with a prism while watching my daughter and her friend play.  Wonderful memories made that day for my daughter and I. Looking forward to getting out the prism again for some fun and play here in Florida.

Vitamin Sea

"Smell the sea and feel the sky, Let your soul and spirit fly." - Van Morrison

This past weekend, my daughter celebrated her birthday with a few friends at a beautiful beach. It was a day filled with laughter, salty air and sunkissed hair.

Ten Minutes

He gave me 10 minutes to practice a few garage portrait shots and even though the time was brief, the quality of that time made up for that.  He's thoughtful, kind hearted and his head is always swirling with a million ideas and thoughts. Sometimes he's quiet and just needs to retreat to his teen habitat and other times he amazes me by how much he has to say.  For these 10 minutes, I got a mix of both and every one of those minutes were precious to me.

Fuji Girl

Here's to a new year and new beginnings!  I recently joined a talented group of photographers from around the globe for a 10 on 10 blog circle.  On the 10th day of every month, we post 10 favorite images.

For my inaugural contribution to this blog circle, I'm excited to share a few of my favorite images taken on a walk with my girl.  Santa surprised her with a Fuji Instax and she couldn't wait to go out and shoot.  With dad, dog and gear ready, we ventured out for a photo walk together on a little island near our home.
